OnCurating is an internationally established academic publication platform in the field of Curatorial Studies, combining theoretical and historical research with the critical reflection of contemporary curatorial practice. The range of topics covered includes historical research as well as contemporary art, digital curating, cultural analysis, the socio-political context of curating, exhibition design, etc. OnCurating understands curating or the curatorial not as a philosophical concept but as a practice that is deeply involved in politics of display, politics of site, politics of transfer and translation and regimes of visibility.
