Manazir Journal

Manazir Journal is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to visual arts, architecture and cultural heritage in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The term “Manazir” refers to landscape, perspective and point of view in Arabic, Ottoman Turkish and Persian. The journal is oriented toward a diversity of transcultural and transdisciplinary “landscapes” and “points of view” and open to a multiplicity of themes, epochs and geographical areas. Manazir’s objectives are to draw attention to and valorise research in and on the MENA region, and provide a space for the study, preservation, and promotion of this dynamic field while connecting audiences across borders and languages.
